The Dining Service Clerk provides support to the Director of Dining Services, the Dining Services team, and our residents. The role is responsible for maintaining all resident diet information to assure that diet orders, diet changes, food preferences, nourishment, and daily tray tickets are up to date. has total responsibility for all phases of the operation of the properties they oversee.  Responsibility also includes:  Generating updated, accurate dietary reports from the computer, performing all related office functions, and working the tray-line stations as needed.

What we are looking for: 

We need a proven performer who will help our team members and Network leaders as they support the daily living needs of our residents and who desires to develop trusting, caring relationships with our residents. Our Dining Services Clerks are required to:  

  • Have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
  • Write simple correspondence by email or other means and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations for customers, clients, and other employees of the organization;
  • Demonstrate math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as well as the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs;
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
  • Exhibit competence in operating computer and related software as well as other office equipment such as copier, fax, calculator, and telephone.
